Tibet as a region of China or Tibet as an empire which was once equal to that of the Chinese is a question that has been beaten to death. Offering answers that comply both the sides, the book keeps away from taking stand point. Finely wrought and without prejudice, this is a sensitive, warm and superbly informative book.
